What services or products do you offer?
House cleaning and organizing.
What made you decide to go into business for yourself?
Being able to write my own schedule and to be home more for my children.
How did you get started?
I started part-time to see how financially I would grow. Once my part-time was stable, I became a DBA. After about a year I became an LLC.
When did you start and how has your business changed since you started?
2017. I now have my LLC. I work about 30 hours a week. I have one employee. We have a uniform and I have a scheduling app.
What is unique about your company?
My company is different than your average cleaning service’s. I recognize that everyone’s cleaning needs are different. So, no house I walk into needs the same help, which means I tailor to your needs.
How big do you see your business growing?
Eventually, I will have someone doing all the cleaning and I will just be doing the paperwork.
What has been your greatest accomplishments in owning your business?
Growing. Having my children be proud of their mama. Showing them with hard work all things are possible.
What advice would you give to someone just starting a business?
Start slow and have a plan in place. Do your research.

What does it take to keep your business successful and make you stand out?
I think it takes genuine hard work. You really have to love what you do. You have to be willing to hear everything from the good to the bad. It’s how you learn to grow.
